Dream Big Little Lark

This sculpture was commissioned by the Qatar Foundation as part of the arts exhibition for the National Reading Campaign at the Doha International Book Fair. There was an open call based on a theme, from which I was selected.

To create this sculpture I collected almost 100 books, some used, some new. After binding them together, I carved them using a band saw and power grinder before mounting into a wooden frame.
