Description

This is a traditional multiple block style print. It is created by carving a separate piece of wood or linoleum for each color. They are then printed onto the paper, carefully lining up to compose the final image. One thing that is slightly different with this print is that it is created using CMYK process, which means that only 4 colors are actually printed, cyan-magenta-yellow-black (I added grey as well). Each color is slightly transparent, so when printed on top of each other, they combine to create the full color wheel.

This is an original fine art print, carved and printed by hand, and signed by the artist.
